Publishing Gender Research with a Global Focus

In this workshop, scholars will have an opportunity to meet with editors of journals that focus on gender and/or international scholarship. Representatives from Gender & Society, official journal of Sociologists for Women in Society, and two other journals will be present.  Editors (or representatives) will provide an overview of the focus of their journals and guidelines on how to prepare, submit and review manuscripts. After the presentations, there will be 30 minutes for questions and answers. After the workshop, there will also be opportunities to schedule meetings with representatives of the journals for short one-on-one consultations.
