Dry law in Belo Horizonte: evaluation of the profile of the drunk driver.

Traffic accidents kill many people in Brazil. Thus proposed laws that could contain high levels of violence in traffic between the laws highlight the new traffic code and Prohibition(11.705/08), which brought major changes in the level of alcohol allowed in the blood of drivers Brazilians.

In this sense the aim of this paper is to analyze the profile of drivers caught driving drunk in traffic inspections of traffic in the city of Belo Horizonte / Brazil in the year 2011. The methodology was based on the collection of information contained in police reports (BO) produced in the years 2010 and 2011 - occurred when the inspections and interviews with the creators of the campaign to curb the transit of drunk driving drivers. It is noteworthy that in Brazil, drunk driving is a crime, but no victim. In this case a moralizing aspect of social order to be able to control drunk drivers. It is known that 95% of drivers who drive drunk are young and male
