Based on the analysis of the speeches of the main political parties of the opposition -PSDB and PFL- and of the journal O Globo during the first rule of Lula Da Silva in Brazil, this work aims to recognize the ideological frontiers (Aboy Carlés) of the opposition which were constituted in Brazil's political scene during the years 2003 to 2006. The analysis of the relationship among these speeches will allow us to outline the main aspects which the opposition assume with respect to the coming to power of the leader of the PT in the context of the Southamerican social and political change.
