El Shaddai Dwxi-Ppfi: A Filipino Catholic Charismatic Movement’s Vision And Mission

This paper discusses the movement’s role in the Philippine society as well as in other parts of the world. The researcher employs in-depth interview with the local and international preachers of the El Shaddai as well as with the ordinary members of the El Shaddai. Findings show that the vision of the movement is to reach out all corners of the Philippines as well as the other parts of the world with the Words of God so as to unite all the people of God. The Words of God, anchored on faith, hope and charity, is the very spirituality of the movement which transform their lives and their lifestyle in everyday life. The Words of God is always the main reference in all their activities in their daily life - be it in economic, political, social and religious life. Living the Words of God sustain their life in the movement.
