Thursday, 14 July 2016: 09:00-10:30
Location: Hörsaal II (Neues Institutsgebäude (NIG))
RC02 Economy and Society (host committee)

Language: English

This session includes presentations on varied political responses to conditions imposed by neoliberalization and austerity. Taken together, the presenters reflect on the global ubiquity of neoliberalization and the diversity of political reactions to consolidated neoliberalism. We seek to explore the commonality of cultural and political economic reactions to neoliberalization as we work toward a more comprehensive understanding of the political consequences of neoliberalism.
