Migration is increasing dramatically in Asian countries. Yet, we do not know much about general patterns of migration in Asia. We also have limited information about the causes of migration and the integration process of migrants in Asian countries.
In this proposed session, we begin to explore migration patterns in Asia. Through the discussion, we hope to start developing theoretical understandings of migration in this part of the world.
