RC46 Clinical Sociology (host committee)

Language: English and French

Sociology courses may incorporate service learning to create a better world.  Service learning is a teaching and learning strategy that integrates meaningful community service with instruction and reflection to enrich the learning experience, teach civic responsibility, and strengthen communities. Students are placed in a community or government organization to acquire knowledge and develop skills while providing service and assistance to the community.
This regular session seeks papers from those who are using service learning strategies to connect students to social issues and bring about positive social change.
