Abstract Submissions Closed

RC24 Environment and Society (host committee)

Language: English

Asia and developing countries are facing serious environmental issues under the rapid economic growth or strong pressures for higher economic growth. They challenge us to think in new ways both theoretically and empirically about the objects of environmental sociological inquiry and the conceptual tools as well as to learn from the experiences and lessons in Western societies and advanced countries.
