Session Type: Oral
The session will consider trends and the socio-demographic structure of migration processes in various regions of the world in a global context. On the one hand, global migration trends have common patterns in various regions and countries of the world. On the other hand, at the local level, the diverse effects of migration are manifested. The session is invited to discuss the demographic, socio-economic, cultural and ethnic dimension of migration processes at the local level. Studies by various scientists in different regions of the world show that under the influence of migration in different countries, the ethnic structure of the population, the nature of demographic processes, the way of life of the local population, the objects and infrastructure of the ethnic economy are changing. These processes are not studied completely, a more in-depth study of these transformations is required. In some cases, at the level of local societies, conflicts arise between the local population and migrants. Also interesting are management practices that use countries and regions to relieve tensions in these issues. A discussion is needed around theoretical concepts, as well as an assessment of practical research results.
