The 21st century policing is dynamic in promising enhanced accountability, transparency and proactive approach towards clients. But at the same time there are persisten problems of police abusive and letal practices. Arousing more public hue and cry for reformation and re-modelling the new 21st century policing around the world is upholding a greater concern for the well-being of clients from different sections of the society, less use of violence against the people and representation of people irrespective of gender, race and ethnicity in law enforcement. The police work culture too calls for a change. The social environment thereby makes way for understanding intersectionality thereby respecting diversity and eradicating inequalities. To add further, the new age global police is a global organization with greater connectivity, speedy information, prompt action and citizens surveillance. From counselling law breakers and controlling crime to managing community service the functions of police has escalated great heights. Not to forget that this multi-functional organization also has to play a very constructive role in enabling the rights of the victims of abuse and green violence and thereby help to build sustainable societies.
