Location:
RC17 Sociology of Organization (host committee)
Language: Spanish and English
Session Type: Oral
In a global context of crisis, contraction of the State and increasing demands of citizenship, civil society organizations carry out tasks associated with state organizations, or assume tasks traditionally carried out by these organizations.
The session proposes the exchange of research results/action research carried out, within the theoretical frameworks of organizational sociology, to investigate the processes, results and learning processes of civil society organizations, as well as associated state organizations, in contexts of social vulnerability.
The questions addressed in the session are:
- What are the processes from which these collaborative projects are carried out in crisis contexts?
- Who are the intervening decision-makers?
- What new practices of organizational management/or organizational models are developed in these processes?
- What are the difficulties faced by state/civil society organizations in collaborative work in vulnerable contexts?
- What are the strengths and modes of learning that emerge from these processes?
- Who are the relevant subjects?
