Session Type: Oral

Despite efforts in national and institutional policy making aimed at overcoming gender, racial and class-related inequalities in education and the labor market, it is unclear how much progress has been achieved. This session brings together research from Brazil, Germany, and the USA to highlight important aspects of gendered, racial and attitudinal ramifications that continue to sustain educational and occupational segregation. Over-time trends are also discussed.
