This session solicits papers which discuss how intergenerational relations have been generated in contemporary societies within the theoretical framework of social inequality. Possible topics include intergenerational transfer of care and economic resources, intergenerational inheritance of socio-economic capital, and intergenerational mobility of social status and wealth.
