This panel invites papers on any thematic aspect of digital divides, digital inequalities, digital inclusion, and other forms of stratification related to digital technologies as a growing source of social inequality. Papers are welcome from any methodological or theoretical perspective, as well as local/global/transnational empirical case studies. Research may address any of the implications of digital inequality in any life realm with an eye to the question: How are digital inequalities critical to understanding larger issues of social inequality and stratification?
