Session Type: Oral

This session invites intersectional research papers on intimate lives of men and women on the move. Papers looking at the ways in which gender, race and ethnicity as well as social class operates vis a vis migrant communities' sexual experiences are encouraged to apply . Existing literature on the topic propose diverse findings. Mobility of human beings on the one hand may bring opportunities to migrants to explore and actualize their sexual self more freely, however on the other hand the uprootedness may place them into more precarious life experiences.
