"Connecting challenges: Democracy, Inequalities, Ecology, Intersectionality"

This plenary aims to discuss the multiple dimensions of Inequality that became a central issue to understand the paths and trends of contemporary societies, since it has profound impacts on democracy, social justice and well-being. Bringing to the debate questions such as opportunities, social policies, class, education, environment and disasters, our objective is to draw attention to the fact that inequalities should be considered in its various facets, which go far beyond the economic aspects and have consequences to social relations and social life as a whole.
