Location:

RC54 The Body in the Social Sciences (host committee)

Language: Spanish, English and French

Session Type: Oral

Invited Session

The direction of our session is to share knowledge, experiences, and ideas about a feeling for the body (Keller, 1983; Restivo, 1993) and a feeling for the planet.  We will address planning and sustainable spaces (physical, intellectual, natural, and ethereal) in terms of local issues and global problems related to standardization, oppression, manipulation, emancipation, and enjoyment.  The body, here, will be discussed as a sublime organic object around which designs itself under the conditions of existence and survival of any life.
