This session is open to papers on theoretical or methodological issues in comparative sociological research. Papers may consider a theory or a concept, or propose or illustrate methods. The session particularly encourages submission of papers that involve comparison of the social processes between states, world regions, or across different types of society. Papers that review and assess different approaches or methods are welcome.
