If nowadays you have à a look at the Brazzaville rectorat, it reads that the University was created in 1973, although the institution existed already in 1958 as a member of the FESAC ( Fondation de l'Enseignement Supérieur en Afrique Centrale). We might say the Brazzavilian University was born twice, first in the autonomous Moyen Congo in 1958, and second in 1973, when all the francophone universities became members of the institutions of their homeland .In this paper we shall call attention to the emergence of these new institutions as junior colleges in 1958, and their development as full institutions in 1973 with a curriculum in sociology in the case of Brazzaville. The Socialist and Popular Republic of Congo found an opportunity to apply its program of "People's Education" with a curriculum in sociology. As a founder of that sociology program, we shall see how the studies in sociology were biased with the political ideology, even if the young generation was seen as a revolutionary avant-garde and had belonged to revolutionary institutions such as Défense Civile. Political ideology, programs of sociology and university rites will give way to main conflicts with the students of sociology.
