This research explores the rank-based dynamics of healthcare behaviors within tribal and rural populations in South Asia, examining the comparative social indicators that influence community health. By employing rank-based methodological approaches, the study investigates how cultural beliefs, social norms, and individual experiences interact to shape healthcare-seeking behaviors, treatment adherence, and recovery processes. It highlights the need for margin-free measurements of health disparities, emphasizing the importance of rank-based methods in understanding the statistical association between social groups and health outcomes.

Focusing on culturally competent interventions, this research aligns with the conference's goal of enhancing comparative social indicators across time periods and social groups. It delves into the role of sustainability in health practices, illustrating how livelihood experiences and socioeconomic conditions in these communities contribute to health inequalities.

By adopting a rank-based framework, the study showcases how such methodologies can be instrumental in creating robust, comparable social indicators that can be applied across different cohorts and societies. This approach not only sheds light on healthcare dynamics within South Asia but also advocates for integrated public health interventions designed to promote health equity and community participation. Through this lens, the research advances the development of inclusive health strategies that mitigate disparities while aligning with sustainable development goals.
