The paper presents a research study on the sociological and educational impact of global cultural changes in the new era of Anthropocene, focusing on the role of families as educators. Thus, relating to the impact of radical global warming and impact of climate changes on our future generations. Specifically, it presents the fieldwork and findings of qualitative research, involving educational settings in which innovative methods have been developed to include families from diverse cultures as educators, while increasing climate awareness and minimizing social gap on global issues. The study was conducted in several schools, where the families were incorporated into the educational process of their children in school, while playing significant role models for their children, reflecting the family’s attitude towards the justification of avoiding global climate damages. The results showed a significant school success when the family is an active partner and school supporter.

The study explores methods of overcoming the inequality and processes that will build families' resilience thereby promoting quality education, helping the family to regain its leadership role assuming responsibility for strengthening their role as educators providing knowledge and values.

The study's findings demonstrate that an effective partnership between the family and the educational framework improves the learning process and behavioral patterns. The study's conclusions show the contribution of families' multiple intelligences to the child's development and to the school's success in achieving its educational agenda. Therefore, families’ governance is challenged due to lack of families’ empowerment.

It is also increasing the need for formal education as a vehicle for minimizing inequality and improving family school collaboration. The paper will present studies conducted in a widely diverse type of families and schools in Israel along with innovative educational programs developed, tested and implemented during and after the study.
