Oral Presentation
This paper seeks to analyze and deconstruct the social protection dilemma of digital workers by studying the impact of various public policies related to it, as well as the difficulties they face while practicing their digital work, using the qualitative approach through interviews with workers in this field to open a wider space for them to talk about their experiences and deepen understanding of their perceptions of social protection programs within the framework of what Morocco knows of the movement to generalize protection in the social field for all Moroccan citizens. The study will examine the extent to which these digital laborers benefit from health care and social support programs and whether they have working conditions that protect them and guarantee their rights. It will also attempt to explain the reason for the vagueness of the future vision of this category and the possibility of integrating it into the formal economy through state institutions. The paper will propose a set of recommendations in order to overcome this problem and ensure real social protection for digital workers.
