Intersectional Hierarchy
Present paper aims to discuss about the sociological issue guided by the social hierarchy. Social hierarchy prevails in the society which determines the social experience of the individual despite similarity in terms of status and role. New theory Intersectional Hierarchy is applicable to address such situation. Hierarchy creates social boundary with intension to maintain inequality and hegemony of people belonging to certain section of the society. Determining factor of hierarchy in the professional world are social, economic, family, experience and education. Such hierarchy is constructed to maintain differentiation in professional world. Instrument of hierarchy are social relationship, appreciation, discrimination, rumor, and backbiting. Such instrument act to maintain interactional hierarchy. Action entirely transform the social relationship of the individual with other individual. However, targeted individual notice and unnoticed such scenario. Basically, individual belonging to minority section of society and with less social network access experience alienation through such act. People belonging to minority section of society joined professional world through personal effort and reservation system. Scenario of over confidence and under confidence is determined through the hierarchy. Over confidence enable individual to perform in perfect manner on the contrary under confidence decreased the potentiality of the individual. In the context of Nepal, certain section of people monopolize entire power, prestige and property and rest of the people are sidelined. They captured entire executive, judiciary and legislative organ of the state. Theory shows how invisible boundary of hierarchy is maintained in the society. Firstly, planner study and observe the position of the targeted individual after overall study if the targeted person belongs to weaker section they spread negative rumor about targeted person then create own close circle. Rest of the people maintain social distance and disconnect the relationship reluctant to maintain just formal relation and react in social media.
