Oral Presentation
Morocco, a country rich in cultural diversity and oriented toward digitalization and innovation, offers fertile ground for exploring new digital frontiers. As part of the Morocco Digital 2030 strategy, which aims to modernize public services, digital technology is seen as a true lever for the social and economic development of the country.
In this context, it is essential to examine how the emerging concept of the metaverse and AI can be effectively adapted and integrated to promote better citizen interaction and improve the accessibility of public services. This study also explores the challenges to overcome, such as accessibility, digital inclusion, connectivity, and infrastructure, in order to fully harness these new technologies in service of Moroccan citizens.
The study will adopt a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative methods (interviews, focus groups) and quantitative methods (data analysis, surveys) to explore citizen perceptions and the effectiveness of digital public services. Through a qualitative analysis of citizen perceptions and a quantitative assessment of the effectiveness of digital services.
This study will shed light on current trends and opportunities for improvement in Moroccan digital governance, focusing on potential applications of the metaverse and AI for more inclusive and efficient public services. While the specific sectors of application are not yet fully defined, several areas of study are being considered. We will primarily focus on a few key sectors to assess their relevance and potential impact on transforming public services.
This research will pave the way for better integration of digital technologies into Moroccan public services, enabling a smoother and, most importantly, more accessible user experience.
