Global governance actions through natural disaster prevention and response regimes need to be increasingly aligned with local authorities and assimilated within the scope of national and local regulations in different countries around the world. The objective of this study is to analyze the challenges that climate change presents to society and the role of global and local governance in the face of these challenges. It can be concluded that society and governments need to understand the importance of establishing synchronous actions between local, national and global authorities in order to establish prevention mechanisms and joint action to prevent natural disasters caused by climate change.
