I am editing a book for the Springer Clinical Sociology series that is titled Homelessness: Strategies that work to end the housing crisis. It will contain cutting-edge research, policy, and practice chapters on positive directions that communities around the world are taking to prevent poverty and homelessness. Contributing chapters will be potentially submitted by members from the Homeless Research Institute, National Alliance to End Homelessness; National Coalition for the Homeless; UN Working Group to End Homelessness; National Homelessness Law Center; Homelessness knowledge hub; Institute for Global Homelessness, and the Heart Fellows at the UC San Diego Homelessness Research Hub. The emphasis of the book is on exploring the different strategies that are being used that are humane, positive, cost-effective, and grounded in clinical sociological best practices.
