Climate change, environmental degradation, pollution, and access to clean water are some of the most pressing social issues facing our planet today, with the Global South disproportionately affected by these impacts. The session brings together academics, activists, researchers, and practitioners with clinical and applied sociology expertise to examine how sociological knowledge has been translated into real-world interventions.
