This session invites papers exploring the interplay between class origin, education, and class destination, commonly referred to as the OED triangle. Examples of relevant topics include investigating the role of education in intergenerational mobility, evaluating the hypothesis of college as the great equalizer, and examining heterogeneous returns to college education by class origin.
