The Research Committee on Poverty, Social Welfare and Social Policy (RC19) brings together an active and lively community from different fields of social sciences. The purpose is to promote theoretically grounded empirical research on: the sources and character of social problems; the politics, planning and administration of social policies at the global, regional or national scale; and strategies aimed at tackling social problems and influencing social change. This open session invites submissions that reflect on the intersection of these research areas with the Forum themes of justice, knowledge production, and climate change.
