The objective of this session is to gather theoretical, methodological, and empirical works that aim to analyze social inequalities in a comparative perspective between Europe and Latin America. The contributions will focus on various topics, including social models, labor markets, education, life stages, gender inequalities, migration, social stratification, social mobility, and social policies. The session will encourage comparisons between at least two countries/regions, one from Europe and one from Latin America, to provide a comprehensive understanding of the similarities and differences in social inequalities across these regions.
