We invite scholars, practitioners, and policy-makers to submit papers for a session on "Clinical Sociology in Peacebuilding: Strategies and Interventions" at the upcoming ISA Forum. This session will explore the pivotal role of clinical sociology in fostering peace and resolving conflicts within diverse social contexts. Clinical sociology, with its applied and interventionist approach, offers valuable insights and methodologies for addressing the root causes of conflict and promoting sustainable peace.

We seek contributions that examine the practical applications of clinical sociology in peacebuilding efforts, including but not limited to conflict resolution, community healing, and the rebuilding of social trust in post-conflict societies. Papers that provide empirical case studies, innovative interventions, and theoretical advancements in the field are particularly welcome.

This session aims to foster a rich dialogue on the challenges and successes of applying clinical sociological principles to peacebuilding initiatives. By sharing knowledge and experiences, we hope to advance the field and contribute to more effective and humane peacebuilding practices globally.
