Extremist waves in recent years have advanced in several countries around the world. There seems to be a radicalization of propositions such as forms of social control that are institutionalized as expressions of violence and these directly affect the bodies of the most vulnerable people. An example is the recent debate held in the Brazilian parliament regarding the criminalization of abortion. A topic that directly affects women's bodies. On the other hand, we observe countries, such as Spain, where this matter becomes the focus of debate and takes on a progressive bias. However, it turns out that women's bodies are doubly vulnerable, as studies on the subject point out. In this sense, our session intends to expand channels of dialogue in order to think about different forms of control over vulnerable bodies and possible ways to confront them socially.
