This session, organized by the Global Labour Journal (GLJ), offers a platform for critical engagement with recent influential works in labour studies. The "Authors Meet Critics" format facilitates an in-depth exploration of selected books, fostering intellectual dialogue between the author(s) and expert commentators.
The session will have this format:
- A concise presentation by the authors of the featured works
- Insightful commentary from two experts in the field
- Authors' responses
- An open forum for audience discussion
This structure allows for a nuanced examination of each book's central arguments, methodological approaches, and contributions to labour studies. To further disseminate these scholarly exchanges, the reviews from this session will be published in the Global Labour Journal.
