The RC32 Presidential Session's theme “Security, Violence and Gender Equality: Maghreb, Middle East and Global Perspectives” seeks to place women and gender in the Maghreb and Middle East regions in the center of the debates at the ISA Forum Rabat. As the ISA Forum is organized for the first time in a MENA country, as Co-Presidents of RC32 we would like to provide a special space - such as a Presidential Session - for leading feminists scholars from the region to speak and debate current and persistent issues and challenges for women and feminism in the region and in their intersections with the global.
