The panel will bring scholars from different geographical regions of the world to discuss how risk agenda and public perception of risk differs across different cultural, political and geographical contexts.
Multidimensional systemic crises raise global concerns and call for international solutions, yet local and regional perspectives around the world may highlight varying risk agendas in both political and public discourse.
The panellist will discuss how multiple systemic crises can be governed at the regional/ local levels; how risk perceptions are socially and culturally constructed; what are local concerns and how global risks are reflected in the local settings.
