The WG Civil Justice and Dispute Resolution of RC12(Sociology of Law) will organize a session on Dispute Resolution and Innovation.

Dispute resolution procedures include private mediation and other informal methods as well as civil litigation in courts. The use of various digital technologies, ranging from teleconferencing systems to artificial intelligence, is also being promoted both within and outside the courts. How do these social changes affect fairness?
