With increasing instability globally in various realms, different forms of violence attract attention in various world regions, including institutional, political, and/or state violence. The papers in this sessions represent various work regions, including Canada, United States, Nigeria, and India, focusing on diverse topics such as vicarious trauma, police violence, child soldiers, ethnic violence, and symbolic violence.
