In the context of an increasingly globalized world, social inequalities remain a persistent challenge that affects diverse societies. Thus, this session will focus on the analysis of social inequalities indicators from a comparative perspective in different national and/or regional contexts.

The objective of the session is to promote the exchange of knowledge and methodologies between young researchers, such as doctoral students researching in the field of social inequalities. Therefore, participants will have the opportunity to present their ongoing research, receive constructive feedback, and collaborate on the development of innovative approaches to address this global problem.

Moreover, participating students are expected to provide comparative analyses that address the similarities and differences in the manifestations of social inequality in different contexts. Furthermore, an interdisciplinary discussion will be promoted, integrating perspectives from sociology, economics, political science, anthropology, among other disciplines.
