Language: English

In this session, we will focus on inequality and well-being in a comparative perspective. Concerns about proliferating inequality are raised in academic work, shared in social media, and discussed in public debates. We encourage submissions of papers that address under what circumstances inequality may change well-being of the public, as well as the social disparities in such effect. Our interests include but are not limited to comparing (1) objective and perceived inequality and (2) different sorts of inequality, such as wealth and income. We welcome researches using varied methods ranging from survey to randomized experiment to computational social science methods.
