Social science research on mental health and illness covers a variety of methodological approaches. These approaches range from quantitative over mixed methods to qualitative methodologies. This regular session will look into experiences and new proposals on how to conduct social science research on mental health and illness. Of note, it is not the results of research studies which are primarily of interest but rather the development and experiences of conducting the studies and what works best for particular research purposes.
