Counter-Conducts on Subjectivity

Location: FSE033 (Faculty of Education Sciences (FSE))

Black and Indigenous social movements, along with several other collective actions from the Global South, have a rich long history of building knowledge on the processes of subjectivity, often related to resistance to racial, class or/and gender oppressions. In a counter-conduct, those resistance practices challenge established concepts such as agency, subject and subjectivity. For this session, we welcome scholars and activists from interdisciplinary fields to submit their papers on counter-conducts related to the subjectivation processes. Papers discussing subjectivation processes related to social movements, collective action, climate activism and other resistance practices are invited to this session. We are particularly interested in, but not limited to, discussions and experiences from the Global South perspective.
