Social protection interventions (cash, quasi-cash, and in-kind) are known to have positive impacts on the situation of children. These positive outcomes range from increased school enrolment, better nutrition, and improved health coverage. All these effects improve children’s living conditions and reduce child poverty. However, the beneficial impacts may not be evenly and fairly distributed among different groups of children. For this session abstracts about equity analysis of social protection and its impacts on children, in particular in usually under-researched outcomes, are welcome.
