Leisure education in the global world refers to the process of educating individuals and groups on the importance, benefits and means of leisure activities in various cultures and societies across the world. This proposed session aims to explore how leisure education can serve as a catalyst for cultural exchange, enhance individual well-being, and act as an integral part of liifelong learning. We will explore the multifaceted role of leisure education from a global perspective, examining its implications for policy, society, and personal development. Meanwhile, the session also aims to ’draw a world map’ on the focuses and curricula of educating about leisure and training the professionals who organize and carry out leisure activities for their clients. Further, the session also calls for the idea of planning an international leisure education university programme defining the common core of every national leisure studies, as a universal knowledge.
Therefore, this session will bring together educators, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners from various disciplines to discuss the latest trends, challenges, and innovations in leisure education globally.
