Culture plays a major role in peoples’ overall wellbeing. This session focuses on studies relevant to immigration, migration and cultural issues in different societies. Today’s world is increasingly diverse. The migrants bring challenges to their new hometown/country, as well as opportunities. Issues surrounding cultural diversity, cultural competency and socioeconomic equity concern clinical sociologists. Finding strategies to improve the quality of lives is our common goal.
