Cross Generational and International Networking Workshop for Junior/Early Career RC32 Scholars

Tuesday, 17 July 2018: 08:30-10:20
Location: 801A (MTCC SOUTH BUILDING)
RC32 Women in Society (host committee)

Language: French and English

Early career RC32 feminist scholars (including graduate students) are invited to sign up in advance to take part in this workshop, which will consist of a series of small group conversations with invited senior feminist RC32 scholars from different parts of the world, who have been actively involved in RC32 and other parts of ISA for a number of years. The goal of these successive short meetings is to enable early career scholars to develop deeper ties with RC32, build on and enhance their academic experience through making connections, extending networks, and becoming more aware of the potentials of involvement within the international sociological community. In order to participate, interested junior/early career scholars must register by contacting Shweta M. Adur at sadur@calstatela.edu by July 5, indicating their interest in participating, where they presently are, and their areas of research and interests. Certificates of participation will be provided at the end of the workshop.
