Clinical Sociology in Practice

Monday, 16 July 2018: 15:30-17:20
Location: 803A (MTCC SOUTH BUILDING)
RC46 Clinical Sociology (host committee)

Language: English

This session is for emerging scholars and practitioners of applied, clinical and engaged public sociology to share their research and engagements with established sociologists. In a roundtable conversation-discussion format, early career sociologists will briefly share and discuss their research and career-related issues with senior sociologists. Hopefully, this sharing of ideas/issues about professional advancement opportunities (e.g., publication, cutting-edge research) will provide valuable insights both for emerging and seasoned scholars/practitioners in applied, clinical and engaged public sociology.
Early career sociologists are encouraged to submit their abstracts outlining their research-publication and career-related issues and its relationship to their sociological practice.
