Disasters have different sources and periods throughout time. However, the vulnerabilities of different groups during disasters differ. Children have been defined as one of the important vulnerable groups, therefore childhood experiences related to disasters are important impetus points for disaster processes. Children are not only passive recipients but are active persons related to disaster issues. This session may combine different disaster experiences of children from the past, present, and planned future. The experiences may reflect childhood disaster experiences from the different communities, and countries of the World. Disaster experiences may be related to war, terrorism, pandemics, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, soil erosion, tornados, hurricanes, floodings, nuclear accidents, famine so on. The experiences may be reflected at international, national, local application levels, and formal and casual application levels.
