In this session, we will investigate discourse analysis methodology and especially the role of written narratives in sociological research, considering the conference theme. Methodological aspects are of paramount importance in knowledge production, as they add or subtract credibility and add or lack accountability. Faulty or manipulated methodologies enable discourse producers and owners to influence public opinion in sinister manner. Theoretical and empirical contributions are welcome. Posters are the main means of communication for this session but a discussion and comments around posters will also be possible.
