Language is one of the key aspects of migration and social mobility, facilitating or hindering movement and integration in many dimensions. In a globalized world, the mobility of individuals has an impact on the maintenance of languages, their evolution and shaping under new conditions. The influence of language, mobility, migration and refugee is self-reflexive and multidimensional - depending on the socio-political context, availability of courses, costs associated with nurturing one's own or a new language, or individual motivations. The mutual influence of the above-mentioned elements has a large impact on the intergenerational transmission of language, culture, identity and memory, playing a role, for example, in minority communities. The issues of shaping language policies at various levels, the manner of their implementation and social practice, which should focus on language in the migration and/or refugee process, are also important. We invite scientists, researchers and practitioners to submit paper proposals on topics related to, although not limited to, the following topics:
- the role of language in the migration and mobility process,
- language policies of various levels,
- the language strategies of both refugees and people with a migration history and the host societies,
- the intergenerational flows of language and related issues of identity, culture, memory etc.
- linguistic discrimination against individuals and groups,
- campaigns promoting linguistic diversity and their impact on social awareness and language perception,
- issues connecting the languages of national and ethnic minority groups and new migrant communities etc.
