Caring Fathers in the Global Context. Part II

Africa and Latin America share common challenges, such as huge socio-economic inequalities, various forms of discrimination, and large-scale poverty. In these regions, families often bear the brunt of such challenges and the COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated these pre-existing problems.

The recovery process has been difficult for Africa and Latin America due to the inequality, discrimination and poverty prevalent in the regions. Public health services have insufficient coverage and sections of the population in need receive insufficient or even no services.

The objective of our session is to share experiences of families from both regions in this difficult post-pandemic scenario. How are these realities constructed? We welcome contributions with qualitative, quantitative or mixed method approaches of analysis.
